About Serena

Serena Manaka, aka Serena Lee, is a professional graphic artist. She works in multiple mediums with a strong concentration in photography and the photographic arts. She's been working in the photography industry since 1997. Her humble beginnings began in the Texas Panhandle where she was born and raised. She attended college in Texas and continued her education in Santa Barbara, California at the world renown Brooks Institute of Photography.

Serena has been offering high quality portraiture and wedding photography in the Southern California area for the past 18 years. Serena has been recognized by Hasselblad, Fuji Film, Epson and others for her excellence in photography. Her work has been published and displayed across the world, most recently in The Hall of Awa Japanese Handmade Paper in Yoshinogawa City, Japan as part of the Awagami International Miniature Print Exhibition 2023.

When Serena is not creating artwork, she is usually working with other artists in the Southern California area, offering her creative input and professional art production skills. She often pinches herself to be sure that she is really awake because she's living out her ultimate dream of being a creative. And loving every minute!
